Taking Dubai as the social context, the art installation reflected a specific group in Dubai called "Bidoun" which means immigrants or people "without" Emirati passport... The idea is to present those faces that people pass by everyday but not really knowing who they are, where they come from, and what Dubai means to them... Those people who knew Dubai as their only home...
Displaying their portraits along with their names, briefs and signatures in one of the unexpected places in Bastakiya, where the labs took place, metaphorically represented this group perfectly.. For it was such a forgotten narrow alley that people would rarely notice...
