Come meet the designers and experience the results of the 3D Arabic Lettering and Ornament Workshop at the Collections building, (first floor), at the Sharjah Art Foundation.
The event will kick off with a presentation of the book Sculpting Type, an Introduction to CNC Typography in the presence of the author, Edo Smitshuijzen.
The designers will present their research and outcomes.
The author will discuss what inspired him to write and design this book, elaborating on his research and experiments with 3D software, and designing typefaces (Arabic and Latin) for computer-aided machine production.
