Jamal Baroudy

I studied for a bachelor arts degree in graphic design as well as fine arts. This educational ‘training’ has always pushed me to be conscious of artistic fundamentals and to reflect it in my career as a corporate and environmental identity design specialist. Particularly over the past few years, my design philosophy has evolved and matured and I find myself gravitating towards Middle Eastern and Islamic calligraphic artistry. This became a personal passion of mine, enough so, that it led to me taking a series of specialist courses with a renowned professor in Beirut specializing in the heritage and techniques of Arabic/Islamic calligraphic art.
