Pierre Joris

I am a poet, essayist, translator & anthologist, originally from Luxembourg, but living in the US for twenty years after many nomadic years in France, England, Algeria and elsewhere. I am presently at work on an anthology of the writings from the Maghreb, to be called Diwan Ifrikyyia. I am also studying Arabic here at the University at Albany, NY where I also teach.
