Beirut Design Week 2013

From 24 to 30 June, Beirut Design Week 2013 will be held across Beirut City, featuring exhibitions, conferences, workshops and open studios showcasing the work of local and international designers operating within Lebanon. This year’s event will focus on creative economies, intercultural exchange, design education and design entrepreneurship. Beirut Design Week is organized by the MENA Design Research Center, an organization cofounded by Doreen Toutikan and Maya Karanouh and incubated by TAGbrands, a regional branding and design agency. The Center is focused on promoting a diverse understanding of design through the implementation of design research and collaborative multidisciplinary projects in the region.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE EVENTS PAGE FOR DETAILS. All events are open, free & public from 17:00 to 22:00, some events will be staying up later. Workshops are not included in this program as they require registration and payment before attendance. Although each day is divided by area, we have some exceptions that are off the track.
