Moderated by: Soukeina Hachem
With guest speakers: Lina Ghaibeh, Tulip Hazbar, Sara Rizkallah and Deena Mohamed.

The Panel will address social engagement of women with their context as well as the creative journey behind their work in their respective cultural and national context. It will bring together the work and stories of women illustrators/activists from the various parts of Southwest Asia and North Africa to shed light on these creative processes and how they impact communities.

Anja Lutz (A—Z Presents) & Dr. Huda AbiFarès (Khatt Foundation).
The related exhibition runs until 19 May 2022 at A—Z Presents, Torstrasse 93, Berlin
Exhibition is open Thursdays from 13:00— 19:00, or by appointment.

In addition to contributions made by numerous designers featured in the research.

A comprehensive publication will follow, edited by Dr. Huda AbiFarès, and published by Khatt Books in 2023.
