In parallel to the commercial circuits of the movie theatres, another form of creation exists ; not for the simple contradiction in the construction, but to satisfy another cultural need, to widen the creation field of the authors and to raise awareness aesthetically, artistically and culturally. This is how the Festival International de Film et Vidéo de Création takes position among the contemporary art events today.
