Besides being more known as a media and video artist, his short films " Short visit" and " The fundamentalist" were selected to Academy-certified film festivals such as ( Rotterdam film festival, festival international du Cinéma Méditerranéen Montpellier, freewaves los angeles, clermand ferrand, Berlinale talent campus...etc )
Taleb curated many Art projects worldwide and worked as a film expert and scout for various video and films festivals, among them: Mostra video de Barcelona, Freewaves los angeles, Africa in the picture film festival, La caixa art forum Barcelona, Casa Arabe Madrid...ect.
He also gives lectures and seminars on the current arab digital film experimentations. His latest project he is curating at the moment is : ARAB MEDIA LAB PROJECT, with an aim to strengthen the Media Art sector and digital cinema in the Arab world, contribute to the circulation of works from the Arabic and North African countries in different (international) video and film festivals, diversify the "Western perspective" on art and film happenings from the Arab world and acquaint the West with Arab artists and filmmakers. The project has also initiated various projects like: MEDIA ART & DGITAL CINEMA WORKSHOPS SERIES IN MOROCCO, ARAB STEREOTYPES IN WESTERN MEDIAS, ARAB MOVING IMAGES ARCHIVES and DIGITAL MARRAKECH FESTIVAL...
