Hala Nitchiwa, as the title suggests, merges the Arab greeting word Hala and part of the Japanese greeting word of Konnitchiwa. The concept behind it is to represent a visual outcome that infuses Japanese elements of depiction through the geishas and Arabic/Middle-eastern through the veil. Greeting and language used are in the Arabic written scripts, but the lettering is geometric and inspired by a thicker version of chopsticks.
