Mohamad Dakkak is a Syrian type designer and researcher. He studied visual communication at Damascus University and holds an MA and a PhD in Typeface Design from the University of Reading. His MA graduation typeface Jali received an award of Excellence in Typeface Design from the Type Directors Club (TDC) in 2019.
