The Ultimate Experience
Al Riwaq Gallery is opening a new space of 650m2 devoted to contemporary art in the Al Aali Mall, Bahrain. Inspired by its new location, the inaugural exhibition called The Ultimate Experience- curated by William Wells of The Townhouse Gallery and Mayssa Fattouh of Al Riwaq Gallery - focuses on consumerism’s effects on identity. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of events including a film-screening program curated by Karim Tartoussieh and a talk on mall culture by sociologist Mona Abaza and architect Maan Alsalloum.

Monday, March 9 at 7.30pm: film screening curated by Karim Tartoussieh, with the participation of the British Council Bahrain
Sunday, March 29 at 7pm: panel discussion by sociologist Mona Abaza and architect Maan Al Salloum
