The Exhibition "Transformation of Memories" is a selection of the best works from each of the 16 paticipants in the one month workshop with Camille Zakharia. The exhibition includes also 32 works from 4 different suites by Camille Zakharia about Bahrain that span almost 2 decades in the making - Stories from the Alley, Distorted Memories, Improving Lives & Double Vue.
The show reflects on the impact of the fast changing urban landscape onto the daily lives of people living within. The works vary from personal to general and yet complement each other to form a comprehensive visual interpretation that sheds light on today's fast pace way of life.
A catalogue that includes an introductory essay by British photographer Miranda Sharp and images from all participants will be available at the opening reception.
