Mousharaka: the typeface

In the spirit of collaboration, participants will work together to create a picture font that expresses our collective ideas about Qatar. The result will allow designers to act as producers, and for others to use our work. We’ll work with lo-tech means to create a font, but develop high-quality ideas about globalism and localism. We’ll engage in a cross-cultural expression, using design to mediate interaction for those that use our font.
