Chronicles of a Refugee | Seerat Al-Laaji is a documentary film series made up of six episodes that are currently being broadcast on Al Jazeera documentary channel. Chronicles of a refugee has been filmed over 15 countries with more than 250 interviews with Palestinian refugees from over 25 countries. It is the first independent documentary film to look at the global Palestinian refugee experience over the last 60 years.

This episode examines the relationship between the representatives and the represented in a historical context, and starts a debate over the strategy for having an appropriate Palestinian leadership in the future. This is a comprehensive look at the meaning of Political leadership for a people facing exile, occupation and ongoing dispossession.
