In celebration of the 75th anniversary of The British council and in collaboration with the 10th international photography gathering and gallery Le pont announce the photography competition. 75 photographers, amateur and professional, will be randomly assigned an ‘age’ from 1 – 75, and their task will be to take a portfolio of ten portraits of someone in Syria of exactly that age. The resulting 75 portraits will be judged by a panel who will select one image from each ago for the exhibition, and will choose a single winning image for the competition, and the winner will receive a prize from the British Council to include a photography-focussed trip to the UK .
