Noura Masri is pleased to invite you to her third solo exhibition in Dubai at Gallery 76. A collection of twenty something large-scale, colored acrylics paintings on board / canvas form the exhibition supported by a selection of works from her previous experience.
Moving beyond the colors, shapes, lines and organic forms that shape her figurative artwork, Noura Masri has evolved over time from her semi-realistic to a more abstract even expressionist style. By re-defining a variety of her art she initates a conversation between color, line and shape across her figures.
Not Picasso portrays a collection of Masri's original paintings that visually communicate and demand an active participation between the audience and the pieces themselves through different ideas breaking the barriers of traditional art travelling beyond reality.
Please join us for the Preview of this exhibition on Wednesday 18th November, 2009 from 7:00 – 09:00 pm at Gallery 76, Jumairah 1.
