The workshop consist of the following components:
1. A research trip to Andalusia: Expert guided tours of archeological sites and museums in Granada and Cordoba.
2. A public mini symposium on Arab culture in Andalusia:
—Expert guest who will speak about the cultural heritage of Maghribi calligraphy in Andalusia and its the mix of Iberian and Islamic aesthetics.
—A presentations of the typographic design work in progress
(at Casa Arabe in Cordoba)
3. Expert meetings/intense working sessions for the Khatt Foundation design teams dedicated to the further development of the design work.
