An evening on cross-cultural initiatives such as 'el Hema' (Mediamatic), 'Moslima Fashion' (Showroom Mama), Memardutch (architecture) and the 'Wereldservies' by Imre Bergmann. How are other cultures currently being treated as a source of inspiration for ‘Dutch Design’? Is there such a thing as interaction between different design cultures? Are there (unwritten) rules that are changing? Do designers actually need other cultures for inspiration?
