Instructor: Rasha Dakkak, Graphic Designer

This two-day workshop is an invitation to break out of the two-dimensional space of lettering and explore the use of three-dimensional typography to expand communication. Through a series of hands-on experiments, it will introduce participants to the expressive promises of three dimensional typography by incorporating the physical aspect of letterforms, while also considering its potential impact on reading and interpretation.

Session 1 (June 21):
Following an introduction that presents case studies on three-dimensional typography, participants will then begin developing two-dimensional sketches.

Session 2 (June 22):
Participants will learn strategies to transform their two-dimensional sketches into three-dimensional forms.
