Tarek Atoui is an experimental electro-acoustic musician. Working primarily digitally, and creating a uniquely abstract sound world through his experimental approach. Using his own digital programs done through MAX/MSP, he makes soundscapes, often with beats, breaks and asymmetries.

Atoui gives an expressive, dynamic and intense performance when he plays his music live. He co-founded the Asa Djinnia Collective in Paris in 2004 with Uriel Barthelemi. He is involved in organizing and presenting creative and artistic events, and works with the Puce Muse studios and IRCAM, along with several theatrical and dance companies.
