A graphic and web designer based mainly in Berlin and Cairo.
He has been working as a designer and cultural producer in Berlin since 1999. He is a co-founder of the Achtung Berlin!
festival and has organised numerous cultural events related to the Middle East, amongst others at the Akademie der Künste and the TAK in Berlin.
He recently took part in the 3ankh Project in the framework of the ITB Berlin, the
project “Egyptian Street art and Graffiti” in the framework of the Tutankhamun Ex-
hibition in Frankfurt. He has also held workshops on Street Art for Festiwalla in Berlin and Women in public space for Darb1718 in Cairo.
In 2011 he organised the Egyptian Day during Funkenschlag/Feuersturm at
the OKK, curated the exhibition and expression event "Palästinah".
He is a member of OMRAS, the Organisation for Human Rights in Arabic Countries, the TAK e.V., the ArtsRightsJustice Network.
He is the cofounder of Spring Lessons.
