Helen Abbas

Helen Abbas is a renowned Syrian designer and artist. She studied graphic design and fine arts in Damascus before moving to Dubai. Her work is characterized by contemporary Arabic influences and rich, layered colors. Her influences are many but bold color and type are evident in many of her abstract works. Helen has proved hugely popular with both Arabic and international collectors and consumers.

Arabic calligraphy is a recurring theme in the work of Helen Abbas. In her collections she has combined traditional calligraphic techniques with a modern perspective.

The result is a contemporary style which is unique to her work and broad in appeal. Helen is breaking the rules of traditions, coming up with a contemporary style that complements the modern living especially in the Arab region.

حرصت العباس على استثمار تقنيات الخط العربي برؤية عصرية وافترشت الحروف على مساحة اللوحة لتمنحها بعداً تجريدياً على خلفية نضرة ومشبعة باللون.
