Christine Eid is a researcher and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Her research and interdisciplinary arts practice, TOW, was established in 2001 and includes sculptural, moving-image, installation and written works. Created to foster social engagement, Eid's work proposes to tell stories and question attitudes towards under-represented communities, industries and rituals.
Eid is one of the founding members of the Australian Lebanese Historical Society of Victoria and is also a member of the National Association for the Visual Arts, Australian Historical Association and the Oral History Association of Australia.
